Hot Steeping Method
Steep 2 teaspoons of tea in 16 ounces (2 cups) of hot water for 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature before serving to birds. Tea may need to be diluted to be introduced to your bird . Remove tea bowl within 24 hours. Refrigerated tea must be used within 7 days.
Other Method and Uses
Use tea as a substitute for water when making Bird Street Bistro food blends or you can sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of dry leaf tea onto your favorite Bird Street Bistro parrot food. Provide a bowl of tea in a water form as well. You may use topically for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Use a spray bottle to mist lightly.

Dandelion Leaf. Rose Hips, Marigold (calendula), Lemongrass, Echinacea Purpurea Herb, Dandelion Root, Lavender Flower

Excellent Ingredients
I have only made one of the teas so far. My Grey and two Amazons were not sure what to make of it. I thought it tasted great both warm and cold. Thinking I may try using some pre-made tea in the water for one of the grain dishes and sneal it in to the birds that way.

We are using the tea in place of the water with the cooked food. So far our 41 year old Orange Wing Amazon is doing well and hoping the tea will help with her claw stiffness. Thank you for being such a high quality company and products!
